WHAT IS CFMTA/FCAPM?
Definition:
The Canadian Federation of Music Teachers’ Associations (CFMTA) is an alliance of provincial and territorial music teacher associations. Each member association retains the complete and independent management of its own affairs.
CFMTA champions a high standard in quality music education for each and every Canadian. Working with provincial and territorial registered music teacher associations, CFMTA supports Canadian musicians and their contribution to our unique Canadian culture; while providing opportunities for our members to further enhance musical experiences in their Canadian communities. CFMTA is proud to represent our membership with musical education organizations nationally and internationally.
