Ernst Schneider is an accomplished piano and theory teacher, festival adjudicator, and a renowned composer from Penincton, BC. He became a Registered Music Teacher 1965, and since then has served in a variety of capacities at both the provincial and national levels of the BCRMTA and CFMTA. Some of his notable accomplishments are engaging in the Young Artist competition, successfully applying for "charitable status" for CFMTA/FCAPM, and producing the National Newsletter. He is a highly decorated Canadian music teacher and composer, with numerous awards from churches, music organizations, and service clubs. CFMTA/FCAPM is delighted to name Ernst Schneider as Honorary President in 2019.
